Norton Navigator 350 twin

2,950 GBP

Registered on 1/3/67 in Sunderland Co. Durham. Now 51 years old, this is the third from last Norton Navigator ever built at the Norton Plumstead works in London. Norton Navigators are now widely considered to be among the best of the British sixties lightweight four stroke twins. With Norton Road holder forks,7 inch front brake, later improved gearbox and 22bhp when new.The bike is tax exempt, and will be MOT exempt from May this year.During 2016 the engine was overhauled by a retired engineer and has only been started, but not been used on the road.I have the V5 in my name together with workshop manuals ,service manuals, period road tests, and an old MOT from 1998.The bike is very clean and tidy but not concurs. The chrome on the tank badges and silencers do have signs of pitting. If I am picky I would say the photos probably make the bike look better than it is.Classic bike insurance is less than 100 quid per annum.Viewing is essential before a deal is agreed. I am advertising it for the least amount I will accept, so no chancer bids please, also, no part exchanges thank you. Like all British classic bikes this is a appreciating asset and If it does not sell I will just securely dry store it again, as its yearly increase in value exceeds any return I can get from any bank, building society,Isa etc. The bike is located near Newcastle upon Tyne.Viewing anytime as I am retired. Thanks for.
